Having the beach towels provided was a nice bonus too. Mike had thought of everything and so all we had to do was arrive and sit back and relax. When we arrived we had food in the fridge and a bottle of bubbly and a much needed cup of tea/coffee all ready for when we got there. Mike lives nearby and was extremely friendly and helpful so it was peace of mind if we needed anything. The nearest resort was Puerto del Carmen which had many bars and restaurants and shops and a huge beach but we also found a lovely Marina just before going into the town which was quiet but had some lovely bars etc... And fish that swim up and you can feed which my two year old loved. But you will need a car as these places are about a 10 - 15 minute drive away. We loved this place and would definitely go back and recommend to friends.
